China's economy is experiencing rapid growth across various industries. Due to the unbalanced development between China’s rural and urban areas, millions of young rural residents are pouring into big cities in search of employment, which results in a huge number of senior rural residents remaining in their empty houses with extreme loneliness in their later years. Inspired by this phenomenon, I created this series of works.
